The purpose: Jamie Oliver and the Food Revolution team want to change the way people eat by educating every child about food, giving families the skills and knowledge to cook again, and motivating people to stand up for their rights to better food. Food Revolution Day aims to educate and inspire people everywhere to stand up for real food and empower the public to demand more from governments, schools and food manufactures all over the world in order to sanction the mission of better food, and improved food education for all.

The insight: Colorful illustrations and clever use of typography and natural language can be used to draw people into the narrative.

The idea: Rather than heavy handed political statements, the infographic presents a narrative in which the facts lead up to an unmistakable conclusion; bad habits are making people sick. And it's not all doom and gloom. There's hope too. Obesity is reversible and preventable if people would only chuck the junk and start eating real food.
